I love music. All kinds, actually. However, I'm not sure I am the level where I would sell my soul to see a certain group or artist perform. Such is the case for a large contingency of people for the group, O.A.R. The lovable pop-rock group out of Rockville, MD came to our campus this weekend to perform. Despite only knowing "Crazy Game of Poker", I said fuck it, why not, and went to go see them perform. It amazed me how many people had seen them in concert "5, 6, 7, or even 8 times". Are you fucking serious? I mean, I love my favorite artists just as much as the next guy, but you traveled all across the country and paid the $20-50 per show, to see these clowns out of DC perform some popular radio shit? I mean, I like them as much as the next guy but let's be serious.
Anyways, this weekend as a whole was probably the real, last fun weekend of the semester and I have 4 final exams in addition to one, unexpectedly difficult take-home exam that will limit next weekend's shenanigans fo sho. Unfortunate. But all good things must come to an end, I guess.
