Ok ok, I've really sucked @ updating this thing the last few weeks of school, which is a tragedy to whoever reads this because of some of the absolutely and positively epic stories that emerged from the winding down of junior year. What a semester for the record books, honestly. Looking back, it's so incredibly surreal to think I've been in college for 3 years as I can still recall finishing up my freshman year and posting a "Tyrone is officially done with Freshman Year!!" status update, vividly. Crazy. Where the F does time fly by? It's scary, and the real world does in fact terrify me, considering I've lived in this cozy, sheltered bubble for the last 21 years and have been pretty happy sustaining myself in it.
Regardless, this summer will hopefully provide me with the insight and tools I need to really figure out what I want to do with my life. I am not opposed to simply falling into something by a sheer stroke of luck or quick brillance either, but let's just see how the "Tyrone the Lobbyist" game plays out this summer in DC. I'll be chilling @ home in Jax until May 28th, heading to Charleston for the weekend to stay and see Ang and then I'm DC bound June 1 to July 31st. This will be my first official summer out of Jacksonville, and I couldn't be more excited. I will def update this thing to recap my DC adventures/internship. Fo sho.
